With GQview falling into disrepair after its developer abandoned the project several years ago, Geeqie is keeping this viewer tool alive and well. ACiD View 6 for Windows
Has great read-ability using the Acid font compared to Damn NFO Viewer. But I'm not a fan of the file pane displaying and it doesn't remember the position and shape of the window or file pane when it's opened next time. I'd like to see a toggle button for the file pane just left of the top bar menu or the toggle button to toggle the file pane and the top menu. I'm looking for a totally clean text window since that's all it's for; double-click an nfo file and pop a clean display of your file with the borders set where they were left last time (or a default shape and position saved in prefs). Also, absent the file pane, Damn's choice of displaying the file path & name at the bottom is better than the settings info displayed by Acid.
