Users are natural or legal persons that deploy an AI system in a professional capacity, not affected end-users. Users (deployers) of high-risk AI systems have some obligations, though less than providers (developers). Free and open licence GPAI model providers only need to comply with copyright and publish the training data summary, unless they present a systemic risk. All providers of GPAI models that present a systemic risk – open or closed – must also conduct model evaluations, adversarial testing, track and report serious incidents and ensure cybersecurity protections.

[My half journey at as International Business Researcher Intern at ParagonCorp] It has been an amazing journey to professionally learn at one of the biggest cosmetics FMCG companies in Indonesia, ParagonCorp, moreover choosen as the lucky 0.2% from 75.000+ applicants in Paragon Internship Program batch 4.0. Starting from February, I have grown together with Paragon and other Paragonians for more than 2 months, marking halfway of my journey as international business researcher intern. My role allows me to combine things that I'm very passionate about, data, research, and business.

During the past two months, I've learned to implement the knowledge I've gained in and out of class. I deep dive more to create an expansion strategy, integrate frameworks, and conduct end-to-end research. Some of the project examples are business expansion analysis to specified countries, B2B partnership research to specified intergovernmental organizations, and priority export commodity research.

One particular thing that interests me the most is the importance of the legal/jurisdiction aspect when venturing into new opportunities. I'm expressing my biggest gratitude to my mentor, Kak Bagas Kurnia for trusting me with the projects, giving me meaningful feedbacks, and guiding me throughout the program.

Also many thanks to my teammate Sarwah Syakirah Marsuki for doing this together from the beginning. I can't wait for the next exciting 2 months to go!
